We are pleased to announce that Welglaze Windows, a well-established window and door fabricator located in Hertfordshire have been acquired by Audasi Holdings. From this week Welglaze will become a sister company to our flagship company, Quickslide. We have been on the look-out for an opportunity to grow and invest Quickslides share in the South and we feel that Welglaze is a perfect match. The work carried out by the Welglaze Team has set a great foundation for Audasi to invest from and to take both businesses further. .

Ever since Quickslide manufactured their first sliding sash window in PVC-u over 15 years ago they have been on a mission to replicate the traditional window as originally used in construction as far back as the middle ages. Quickslide have just invested £300,000 in machinery to remove the feature groove from thier foiled and painted sash window as this is normally what gives away that the window is PVCu.

Thats what actor Hugh Dennis said when presenting the award to Brighouse based Quickslide at the prestigious Build-it awards in London last week when they were awarded the Best Window category for the companys traditionally-styled PVC-U sash window.Quickslide, which employs more than 100 staff at its Bradford Road site, beat more than 160 hopefuls to add to its other recent successes, including Training and Development Company of the Year at the glazing industrys G-Awards and Brighouse Business of the Year.
